I am so grateful to my parents for exposing me to classic literature, visual arts, and performing arts at a very young age. As a young child in Kansas City, I will never forget the experience of attending my first live theater performance at the Starlight Theatre. It was a special night out for our family and even though this was an outdoor performance in the summer we all dressed up in our best clothes to attend. I remember being mesmerized watching the performers sing and dance and bring their roles to life in the production. I support the Kravis Center as an annual donor to help give that experience to young children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to see a live performance. I hope through the programs the Kravis Center offers for children that many will be inspired as I was and still am by live theater performances. By naming the Kravis Center as a beneficiary in my will, I know that my annual support can continue on indefinitely through the endowment fund.
