Growing up in the “Big Apple,” each of us developed a strong passion for the arts. When we met in 1988, this mutual love of classical music, opera, ballet and theater was a common bond. For many years, we traveled extensively to visit the world’s best museums, opera houses and concert halls.

When we decided to move to Florida, we were fortunate to have friends in Palm Beach whom we had met at the Metropolitan Opera years earlier. They introduced us to the wonderful and varied offerings at the Kravis Center. For the past 18 years, we have been thrilled with the many fine offerings presented at the premier performing arts center in the Southeast.

At the Center, we are proud to be Dress Circle members and to support both the annual campaign and the Permanently Restricted Endowment Fund. Having served as trustees on various religious and nonprofit art boards in New Jersey, including the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, and George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, we became very aware of the financial needs of nonprofit organizations that go well beyond the cost of tickets and/or dues. We are happy that we are fortunate enough to be in a position to donate and support many wonderful causes, including the Center, in order to keep ticket prices affordable, support innovative arts education programs, and to help expose the wonders of the arts to children at an early stage of life.

From our experiences, we know how important it is to support and preserve the Kravis Center’s artistic mission of presenting world-class entertainment.
