My husband George and I immediately fell in love with the Kravis Center the moment we walked through its doors. George was both a music educator and professional violinist playing for such well-known celebrities as Frank Sinatra, Tony Martin, and others. Therefore, after making the move from Chicago to Palm Beach County, we felt like we hit the jackpot when we discovered that the Kravis Center was in our own backyard!
Through the years we attended a myriad of performances in the beautiful concert hall with its outstanding acoustics. However, aside from our own pure enjoyment, perhaps most important is that we learned that the Kravis Center has a nationally acclaimed arts education program. Because of George’s background as a music teacher, we truly understood first-hand how critically important arts education is in the lives of young people, and to discover that the Center serves more than 60,000 students each year is exemplary.
For these reasons, George and I decided to make a gift to the Center’s endowment fund. It now gives me great joy to know that the Kravis Center will be able to continue to fulfill its mission of providing a world-class performing arts center and outstanding arts education programs for generations to come. Our community is certainly a better place because the Center is here.
