My wife and I have been very involved in Boston's cultural community, and the knowledge that a major performing arts center would anchor the cultural scene in Palm Beach County was a deciding factor in our move to Florida.
When we had our "hard-hat” tour of the Kravis Center construction site, we were convinced that we had made the right decision to put down roots in this community. It was clear that the Center's design would provide excellent resources for an extensive variety of performing arts — from small plays and chamber music to major opera, ballet and orchestral works.
As chair of the Information Technology Committee and a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, I realize that the Kravis Center has a responsibility to serve and enhance the quality of our entire constituency through an extensive menu of offerings as well as through provision of facilities for local performing arts organizations.
Ingrid and I are pleased to have established a Technology Development Fund to enable a sharp focus on the technology needs of the Center to better serve our audiences and our artists. In addition one of the best ways to assure the continued financing of our overall mission is through a permanent endowment fund, and Ingrid and I have made provisions for the Kravis Center in our estate planning.
We are pleased to support the Kravis Center that provides so many benefits to our community.
